Period Power for the Next Generation *

Explore how to educate, empower, and meaningfully connect with pre-teens and teens as they navigate puberty and menstruation

As Fertility Awareness Educators, we often feel called to bring body literacy to younger generations — yet teaching pre-teens and teens requires a different developmental, relational, and intergenerational approach than teaching adults.

Meet youth where they are and nurture lifelong body partnership

In this continuing education session, Hayley Neil shares insights from her Womb Honey youth workshops, offering educators a practical framework for teaching puberty and menstrual cycle education in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and deeply supportive of both young people and their caregivers.

a little about your instructor Hayley

I was led to this work through my own period challenges and a diagnosis of adenomyosis, and premature ovarian insufficiency. I am now post menopausal and raising three very unique daughters through their puberty and menstruation adventures. Through my extensive work with youth in my community and after completing my training at The Well: School of Body Literacy I knew I wanted to be in the trenches with other moms like me. I specialize in helping pre-teens, teens and their caregivers to create cycle awareness practices that meet them wherever they are on their journey.
