Girls age 11-18. If your child is younger and ready to learn, we can place them with a group that fits.
is this for me?
The Little Bee Period Power Workshop is more than a class.
It’s a rite of passage, a safe space, and a starting point for lifelong body trust.
Instead of teaching girls to manage or control their bodies…
They learn how to listen, understand, and care for themselves with compassion.
Instead of just learning what happens in puberty and periods…
They become their body’s best friend—learning the language of their body, understanding their rhythms, and trusting their natural flow.
Instead of being embarrassed, confused, or afraid…
They become confident, prepared, and proud of their changing body.
And along the way, they discover something powerful:
they’re not alone.
They’re part of something bigger…
a supportive circle, a shared rhythm… a little hive of girls learning and growing together.

FAQs
-
11-12 is an ideal age to learn all about periods and be able to participate in a workshop. Some kids start periods sooner than this or are eager to learn as early as 8 years old.
I love teaching older teens, or youth that have already started their periods too and we will make sure the workshop is geared towards their needs.
No matter the age or readiness, I can help you determine if a workshop is the right fit for your child.
-
Learning with a friend or sibling is an awesome way to help your child feel comfortable and excited.
I offer 10% off for anyone that signs up with someone. It helps me fill my class up and I love when people get to share the period power with people they love and trust.
-
Everything is taught with care, respect, and age-appropriate language. Parents are informed ahead of time in our Parent Meeting.
Check the “parent section” of this page to learn more about how I handle my teaching material.
-
As long as you make it to one day of the 3-day workshop, I will make sure your child still gets their workbook, period kit, and all resources shared during the workshop. I ask that you please give me as much notice as possible if your child will be missing a day. Each day matters so I highly encourage booking only if you are certain they can attend all 3 days.
If you child is unable to attend the workshop, or you need to cancel your order, 48 hours notice is required for a full refund.

That’s exactly why I made these workshops! Girls quickly relax when they realize they’re not alone and that learning about periods can be fun. Plus you will be incorporated in the learning and she will have a workbook to review. I care a lot about the connection between mother and child, so it’s my hope that the conversations won’t stop!
Every child is unique and I work hard to make sure each feels seen, safe, and cared for.

A dedicated parent info session is offered before each workshop so you feel fully prepared and confident.
Review exactly what will be taught
Ask questions and share any concerns
Understand how to support your child before, during, and after the workshop
Learn about the important role you play in your child’s development and experience
If you’re unable to attend live, a pre-recorded version is available.
-
Connection is one of the most meaningful parts of this experience.
On the final day, moms (or another trusted adult) are invited to join for the last hour—typically around lunchtime to accommodate work schedules.
Participate in a special bonding experience with your child
Be part of a shared, positive memory around this stage of life
Strengthen communication and trust moving forward
If you can’t attend, a dad, sister, or another trusted adult is welcome. However, I highly encourage you to come if possible. It’s a really special part of the workshop.

I approach reproductive health education with care, respect, and intention.
While I am mindful of the guidelines followed in Utah public schools, I am a private educator and not bound by the same curriculum restrictions. This allows me to offer a more holistic, body literacy-based approach. What this looks like is:
Focus on understanding the body with factual information and clear language
Teach with respect, empowerment, and age-appropriate language
Support girls in building confidence, not fear or shame
Being transparent about questions asked but directing them to parent conversations
I know any topics about the body and the reproductive system can be sensitive and that it matters how we learn about and discuss them. There’s so much information out there and knowing how to talk about it all can feel overwhelming. My goal is that after this workshop, both you and your child feel more at ease, informed, and ready to navigate this stage together. Questions about specific topics can be addressed in the Parent Meeting or contact me. https://www.wombhoney.com/contact

You are not navigating this alone.
Ongoing communication before, during, and after the workshop
General summaries of what was covered in class
Support in continuing conversations at home
Availability for questions, concerns, or unique situations
Girls are encouraged to talk with you about what they’re learning, and I provide tools to help make those conversations feel easier and more natural. Supporting the connection between you and your child is one of my top priorities.

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
If your child identifies differently in gender or sexual identity, I would love to support you. I have experience creating inclusive learning environments and am happy to:
Discuss what participation in a group setting could look like
Offer guidance beforehand to ensure comfort and safety
Provide private education and support if that feels like a better fit
Please reach out so we can create the best experience for your child.
This is more than a class…
it’s the start of a lifelong relationship with her body
